There are many problems in society today and it's not just in our country. The legal drinking age in the United States is twenty-one and many people will argue against this. The solution to this problem could be a world wide drinking age. If all the countries came together and made an agreement to set the legal age to twenty-one then this would stop the controversy between people arguing against our government policies. Another solution could be associated with health reasons because the brain is still developing until around the age of twenty-one so this could actually could be saving lives. By having the drinking age as twenty-one this is a solution to much peer pressure that is in our community today. These would appeal to people for the fact of this saving not only their lives but also their children's or loved ones. Some people are going to object to my solutions but all in all there is always going to be objection in every aspect of life.
I think arguing for a world-wide policy on the drinking age is really a tough argument to make, because I don't know if there is any example of a policy that every single country in the world holds in common. I would try to focus on a more local or regional solution to make it easier to argue.
